I am a shameless idealist….a recovering pragmatist……..and an all around opinionated SOB……

I have been many things and called many things in my 40+ years of political activism….I have been a teacher, lecturer, writer, convention delegate and all around pain in the butt….I have called a commie, a pinko, a redneck and a centrists….all are false and all are somewhat true…….I look at ALL issues and form my opinion based on what experience has taught me over the years….sometimes I am mistaken….never wrong…just mistaken…..

I have little use for career politicians because I believe that most feel the same way as Nixon felt when he said:  “Politics would be a helluva good business if it weren’t for the goddamned people.”

Gore Vidal said of politics:  “it is made up of two words ‘poli’ which is Greek for many and ‘tics’ which are blood sucking insects”….pretty much sums up what I think of most politicians.
